OK, maybe this piece is pretty niche, I can accept that! But if there's another person out there who vibes with the tiny, adorable, tenacious, absolutely badass shrew then you've come to the right place!
It is, frankly, a disgrace, that this gorgeous wee animal is used as an insult to women...even by Shakespeare of all people. Bang out of order William. What did a shrew ever do to you? So this is it, I'm reclaiming it! I'd be proud to be a shrew. To survive they basically never stop, and they can take on animals many times their size. Little legends they are. Ever since we found one in our lounge I've been fully obsessed.
This suncatcher features a white opaque uminescent glass frame in the shape of the female gender symbol, with a background of transparent purple and green to echo the colours used by the suffragettes. Who they would honestly never stop going on about when I was in High School but with the power of hindsight...totally fair, thanks ladies.
Each piece of glass is individually cut, ground to shape, edged in copper foil and then soldered together. This is an original design. Measures approx 21x29cm and is hung on a sturdy black chain.

Details
This product is crafted using the 'Tiffany' method of stained glass making, where each piece of the design is individually cut by hand from sheets of beautiful art glass, edged in copper foil and then soldered into place. The process is time consuming and skilled, and gives an elegant and detailed result. Designs are original.
