This stained glass fairy door is designed to be displayed wherever you choose in your home - no need to have a window, or hooks! This piece includes iridescent blue glass, a gorgeous transparent streaky purple, and a streaky grey, and will add ALL of the whimsy wherever it goes.
Each piece of glass is individually cut, ground to shape, edged in copper foil and then soldered together. This suncatcher is freestanding, with the wooden stand included. Solder has been left a shiny silver colour to complement the choices of the glass. Detail is added with durable glass paint. This is an original design. Glass measures approx 13x14cm, stand is approx 16x7x2cm.
This product contains lead solder - do not ingest and wash hands after handling.
Details
This product is crafted using the 'Tiffany' method of stained glass making, where each piece of the design is individually cut by hand from sheets of beautiful art glass, edged in copper foil and then soldered into place. The process is time consuming and skilled, and gives an elegant and detailed result. Designs are original.
