This 5 pointed star is made with deep red glass, and if you look at it whilst backlit, you can see wisps of colour running through it. The colour is really set off by the black solder lines. Does it look Christmassy? Yes. Does it look kinda badass and rock n roll? Also yes.
Each piece of glass is individually cut, ground to shape, edged in copper foil and then soldered together. This is an original design. Measures approx 18x14cm and is hung on a dark grey ribbon.
This product contains lead solder - do not ingest and wash hands after handling.
Details
This product is crafted using the 'Tiffany' method of stained glass making, where each piece of the design is individually cut by hand from sheets of beautiful art glass, edged in copper foil and then soldered into place. The process is time consuming and skilled, and gives an elegant and detailed result. Designs are original.
