Look at this little dude, carrying his stars, looking all fuzzy and adorable. Features iridescent black glass and an iridescent textured Florentine glass as the background, so will look great when backlit or lit from the front.
Each piece of glass is individually cut, ground to shape, edged in copper foil and then soldered together. This suncatcher is hung on a sturdy black chain, and detail is added with durable glass paint, wire and foil overlay. This is an original design. Measures approx 12cm diameter.
This product contains lead solder - do not ingest and wash hands after handling.
Details
This product is crafted using the 'Tiffany' method of stained glass making, where each piece of the design is individually cut by hand from sheets of beautiful art glass, edged in copper foil and then soldered into place. The process is time consuming and skilled, and gives an elegant and detailed result. Designs are original.
