Made this in honour of the sequel to one of my favourite films of all time coming out. Also so I could listen to Harry Nilsson on repeat a whole lot (which my kids prefer to belting out This Kiss on car journeys).
If you too are a fan of Practical Magic, and/or Margaritas then you sound like my kind of person - we should totally be best friends! Also, you should invest in this piece of stained glass art for your home. Or husbands/boyfriends/girlfriends I feel like if your partner is at all like me they’d freak out if you got this for them.
ANYWAY on to the practical part…
Each piece of glass is individually cut, ground to shape, edged in copper foil and then soldered together. This suncatcher is hung on a deep purple ribbon for those 90’s witchy vibes and detail is added with wire and durable glass paint. This is an original design. Measures approx 15x20cm.
This product contains lead solder - do not ingest and wash hands after handling.
Details
This product is crafted using the 'Tiffany' method of stained glass making, where each piece of the design is individually cut by hand from sheets of beautiful art glass, edged in copper foil and then soldered into place. The process is time consuming and skilled, and gives an elegant and detailed result. Designs are original.
