Maybe it's a sign of poor business acumen to devote a chunk of your time to making niche Smashing Pumpkins song title inspired glass butterflies but HEY. I'm kind of scared of bugs, so even though butterflies and moths are a huuuuge motif in stained glass and made by pretty much every stained glass artist out there, this might be the closest you'll get from me.
These butterfly wings are made of textured transparent orange glass, with a gold iridescent bullet. Additional detail is added with durable glass paint. Each piece of glass is individually cut, ground to shape, edged in copper foil and then soldered together. This is an original design. Measures approx 12x8cm.
This product contains lead solder - do not ingest and wash hands after handling.

This product is crafted using the 'Tiffany' method of stained glass making, where each piece of the design is individually cut by hand from sheets of beautiful art glass, edged in copper foil and then soldered into place. The process is time consuming and skilled, and gives an elegant and detailed result. Designs are original.
